On behalf of a lender, we; took control of a troubled 200 room hotel at a net book value of $8.5 million; completed the construction and remedied deficiences; leased 11,000 square feet of food and beverage space to a prominent local restaurateur; negotiated a franchise agreement with Holiday Inns; hired a top flight hotel management team and sold the property three years later for $19 million.
